    IMI Europe

The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) involving the pharmaceutical industry represented by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and the European Commission.

IMI’s overall goal is to make Europe again the world leader in pharmaceutical research. To address this challenge, IMI will harness the know-how and expertise available across Europe’s biopharmaceutical sector, by pooling competencies and resources from the public and the private domain. The research activities, to be supported under the IMI, will be open to all research actors, provided that they are performed within Europe.
